Strategic Account Manager - Food Flavors - Remote

Position Summary

ADM is seeking a talented and competitive team member who thrives in a fast-paced, complex sales environment with a high level of drive to excel. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

Position Responsibilities
  • Sell food flavorings, ingredients, and solutions from the ADM Nutrition portfolio to North American customers, focusing on business-to-business sales to producers of savory and sweet goods, dairy foods, wellness products, and beverages.
  • Build new business, grow sales with existing customers, and maintain their base year over year.
  • Collaborate closely with customers on product development, cost effectiveness, and quality improvement initiatives to drive growth.
  • Work with ADM cross-functional teams in technical, marketing, financial, food regulation, and business leadership roles.
  • Assist in defining technical support needed to meet customer demands and execute projects through collaboration with flavor, color, and ingredient teams.
  • Manage customer pipeline and opportunities using CRM systems like Salesforce.
  • Coordinate with regulatory and scientific teams to ensure solutions meet claims and product positioning requirements.
Job Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • 5-7 years of account management experience in the flavor/ingredient industry preferred.
  • Ability to build relationships with key customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within North America.
