Job summary

Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA) seeks an Account Executive to be the strategic liaison for pharmacy clients, coordinating internal teams, PBMs, and vendors to meet commitments and drive client satisfaction.

Reporting to the Senior VP of Account Management, the role drives implementations, program enhancements, and performance across retail, mail, and specialty services while delivering executive-level reporting and insights.

Qualifications

• Experience in account management or client-facing roles within health plans, PBMs, or healthcare services.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management abilities.
• Knowledge of pharmacy benefits, formulary management, and utilization management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day account management and executive engagement for assigned clients.
• Lead implementations, change activities, and transition to ongoing operations.
• Monitor service levels, deliverables, and issue resolution with internal and vendor teams.
• Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends and improvements.
