Job summary

BIC Recruiting seeks an Account Executive for industrial automation and robotics in New Orleans, LA. This true full-cycle sales role drives business development, manages a sales pipeline, and closes new business across the Gulf Coast industrial market.

You will build relationships with plant-level and corporate decision-makers, travel regionally, and collaborate with internal teams to present safety-focused, cost-saving solutions and schedule certainty.

Qualifications

• Proven success in industrial sales or account management.
• Experience selling in maintenance, turnaround environments or capital projects.
• Excellent prospecting, pipeline management and closing skills.
• Ability to engage site-level and executive stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel Gulf Coast region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to generate new business opportunities.
• Identify, qualify, and close opportunities within refineries, petrochemical facilities, chemical plants, and other industrial sites.
• Build relationships with plant-level and corporate decision-makers.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution.
• Maintain an active sales funnel and track opportunities within CRM systems.
• Collaborate with internal technical and operations teams to develop customer solutions.
• Present value-based solutions focused on safety improvements, cost savings, and schedule certainty.
• Travel throughout assigned territories to support customer engagement and business development efforts.
