Job summary

AV Concepts, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Account Director to drive new business and expand strategic partnerships within the events industry. You will lead prospecting, develop tailored proposals, and close multi-year deals with senior executives.

You will manage the full sales cycle, nurture relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional client satisfaction and profitability across large-scale events. Remote-friendly with Tempe-based options.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of consulting sales in a technical industry.
• Experience with AV/staging for large events (≥1000 attendees).
• Proven success in building client relationships and loyalty.
• Ability to engage executives and decision-makers.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Organized, self-motivated, and collaborative.
• Team-oriented with multi-tasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow relationships with senior decision-makers.
• Lead full sales process: prospecting to closing multi-year deals.
• Develop target account campaigns and proposals.
• Ensure profitability and meet/exceed margins.
• Collaborate with internal teams for client satisfaction.
• Attend conferences and industry events monthly.
• Travel on-site for key events; travel is flexible.
