Position Purpose

Responsible for executing Reddy Ice's sales and account development strategies at the national and regional levels, aiming to meet annual revenue, unit volume, pricing, and profit growth targets. This client-facing sales role involves understanding market trends, customer segments, and channel strategies to create comprehensive sales plans, objectives, and tactics that foster long-term, sustainable, and profitable growth. The role includes customer acquisition, engagement, development, and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement long-term client-specific strategic plans aligned with company goals.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by providing value through expertise and exceptional service.
  • Utilize market research, customer, and consumer data to inform sales strategies and client relationships.
  • Identify industry and consumer trends to develop actionable plans.
  • Articulate Reddy Ice's value proposition throughout the customer journey.
  • Negotiate contracts and handle major accounts with high-level decision-makers.
  • Leverage sales technologies including CRM, data analysis tools, and AI/Automation.
  • Develop sales programs to drive demand, launch new products, and grow revenue.
  • Conduct regular customer reviews and adhere to high ethical standards and safety protocols.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Extensive sales experience in CPG, retail, distribution, or logistics sectors, with at least 15 years of progressive experience.
  • Proficiency in digital sales tools, CRM software, and data analysis tools.
  • Proven track record of year-over-year growth in units and revenues.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Working Conditions

Up to 80% travel, including overnight stays. Work environment includes office and visiting manufacturing/distribution centers. Must manage stress in a fast-paced environment. Weekend and night work required.
