Summary
The Strategic Account Associate, Localization role is for individuals with a strong background in the Localization Industry who can apply their skill set and subject matter expertise to high profile accounts. These individuals own a specific account portfolio with a goal of growing the account through planned initiatives in conjunction with sales and program management. Account Management team members focus on supporting clients’ stakeholders by consulting, scoping, quoting and executing the various service offerings to meet business objectives, providing high‑level customer service, and ensuring profitable growth for the organization.
Responsibilities
- Gain experience and subject‑matter expertise on expanded localization solutions to act as a consultative advisor.
- Focus on strategic and/or high‑profile accounts with growth opportunities.
- Develop project quote proposals and schedules for existing and new clients.
- Manage translation projects to ensure quality, on‑time delivery, and profitability.
- Maintain accurate projected revenue on open projects and provide timely billing under company policies.
- Develop and maintain data and reports, including internal and client reports.
- Provide department and team support, including out‑of‑office coverage, process improvement suggestions, and team‑building activities.
- Develop and facilitate meeting presentations for internal teams and external clients.
- Collaborate with Quality Managers and Program Managers to implement and monitor quality programs.
- Provide feedback to technology teams and monitor technology performance, auditing for new solutions when needed.
- Support new account onboarding as required.
- Collaborate with Program Managers, senior account team members, and sales on infrastructure initiatives and account growth strategies.
- Mentor Account Coordinators and Account Managers to develop their skill sets.
- Complete all other tasks deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager or supervisor.

- Willingness to travel to offsite client or sales meetings.
- Willingness to be available outside of business hours in accordance with local labor laws.
- Subject‑matter expertise on one or more areas of localization.
Experience and Education
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized college or university.
- Minimum 4‑5 years’ experience in a client‑facing account management or client service representative role.
- Minimum 2‑3 years’ experience in the localization industry.
- Hands‑on experience with GlobalLink tools and/or other localization platforms.
