Job summary

Texas State Technical College is seeking a Manager, Accelerated Training to develop and administer non-credit training programs for external partners across the state. The role oversees budgets, staff, and multiple contracts within a defined region to generate revenue and meet industry needs.

The position is on-campus, requires presence at least three days per week, and offers a salary range of $64,000–$67,000 per year. Equivalent education and experience combinations will be considered.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 1 year of required management or leadership experience in business or industry; 4 years budget/ project management experience; 3 years demonstrated project management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, market and supervise training and instructional activities for customized grant or contract training.
• Oversee operating budgets and monitor expenditures.
• Coordinate employment documents for training projects and supervise staff.
• Maintain relationships with workforce boards, economic development groups and industry associations.
• Ensure timely, accurate project delivery and effective cross-department collaboration.
