Texas State Technical College (TSTC) is seeking an Associate Manager of Career Development to oversee regional career services, coordinate with Employer Relations, Student Learning & Operations, and Enrollment Management, and guide Career Advisors to improve placement outcomes for graduates across online, hybrid and face-to-face programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 1 year of leadership or management experience required (2 years preferred).
  • 3 years of program coordination and deployment experience required (5 years preferred).
  • 3 years of customer relationship management experience required (5 years preferred).
  • 3 years of case management experience required (5 years preferred).
  • 3 years of experience in higher education and student services required (5 years preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate TSTC core values with stakeholders, customers, students and community.
  • Direct regional student-facing services and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Lead regional placement data collection and assess impact of career development programs.
  • Collaborate with campus and statewide leadership across divisions to optimize student experiences and outcomes.
  • Provide guidance to Career Advisors and represent leadership in meetings with administrators and partners.
  • Foster continuous learning and growth, offering professional development for staff.
