Job summary

Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a COE Program Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the College of Education program area. The role coordinates work across units and may supervise staff in complex cases, focusing on policy implementation and program support for accreditation and university reviews.

Responsibilities include managing certificate and academic program timelines, preparing committee documents, and supporting training materials for staff.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • PK-12 Education experience and knowledge preferred.
  • Teaching experience and certification preferred.
  • Two or more years’ related experience in higher education environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance and work directly with College leadership to prepare documents required for approval of new and revised programs for Academic Affairs, accrediting bodies, University Program Reviews and Arizona Department of Education and other states.
  • Manage and maintain all certificate programs and academic programs timelines as assigned by COE Directors.
  • Supports College leadership and Directors with assigned programs as needed.
  • Prepare all College Committee documents related to academic programs, organize monthly meeting notes in collaboration with COE Leadership.
  • Assist in the development of training materials for monthly program knowledge trainings and updates for all Student Service Counselors.
  • Aide in researching programmatic trends and requirements related to program and certificate development.
  • Attend University meetings related to academic programs as assigned.
  • Assist in preparing documents required for approval of retired programs for Academic Affairs and University level processes.
  • Perform other duties and oversee projects and academic programs as assigned by the College leadership.
