Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in professional counseling or related field.
  • Licensed in a counseling-related field.
  • Two or more years of counseling experience.
  • One or more years of post-secondary academic experience.
  • Knowledge of Internet software and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of academic platforms and related tools/software.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional materials.
  • Ability to write reports and procedures manuals.
  • Ability to present information effectively to groups.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of a program to achieve goals.
  • Draft program/guidelines for accreditation.
  • Coordinate data collection, analysis, and reporting for programs.
  • Prepare documents for approval of new or revised programs.
  • Serve on counseling committees as needed.
  • Liaison for NBCC and national exam information.
  • Provide oversight of practicum/internship site supervision and documentation.
  • Assist in updating practicum policies and trainings.
  • Address student and practicum concerns; coordinate resolutions.
  • Maintain partnerships with OFE, FT&D, FS, and other GCU support services.
  • Analyze student data and develop improvement plans.
  • Facilitate programmatic reviews and reporting formats.
