Job summary

The Academic Planning Analyst will be responsible for ensuring LAS allocates instructional resources efficiently while maintaining student success and progress to degree. You will work with LAS IT to improve the college's instructional planning and reporting application and train end users.

Duties include evaluating resource requests with the Executive Associate Dean, guiding departments on enrollment and course capacity, coordinating budgets, and supporting data visualization for instruction,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education Administration, Data Analytics, Business Administration or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Three or more years of professional experience in academic resource management or enrollment management.
• Experience handling complex data sets (e.g., enrollment data, course scheduling, instructional budgets).
• Experience with database systems, reporting tools, or budgeting software is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate requests for instructional resources with the Executive Associate Dean.
• Liaise with academic departments on instructional operational matters.
• Manage instructional budgets and course schedules, especially during peak registration periods.
• Predict enrollment trends with LAS Institutional Research Analyst.
• Guide departments on enrollment, demand, and class capacity.
• Coordinate alignment of courses with student needs and degree progress.
• Oversee LAS instructional planning and reporting application and ensure data integrity.
• Deliver end-user training for the planning application.
• Support data visualization for instruction, enrollments, and budgets.
• Provide administrative support to the Executive Associate Dean.
• Participate in special projects and other duties.
