Job summary

UIC is seeking an Academic Planning Analyst to ensure LAS allocates instructional resources efficiently while maintaining student success and progress toward degree. You will review, analyze, and finalize resources for LAS units and work with LAS IT to improve the planning/reporting application.

The role requires collaboration with departments to align offerings with student needs, predict enrollment trends, and provide data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education Administration, Data Analytics, Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Three+ years in academic resource management, enrollment management or institutional research.
• Experience with complex data sets and data-driven decision making.
• Proficiency with database systems, reporting tools and budgeting software is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate requests for instructional resources with the Executive Associate Dean.
• Serve as liaison with academic departments on instructional operations.
• Manage complex adjustments to budgets and course schedules during peak periods.
• Collaborate to predict enrollment trends and monitor enrollments.
• Provide guidance on enrollment optimization and class utilization.
• Train end users and oversee the instructional planning/reporting application.
