Job summary

UTMB Health seeks a Senior Faculty Recruiter to lead recruitment and sourcing of faculty candidates across the Academic Enterprise. You will collaborate with department chairs, search committees, HR, and leadership to attract top faculty while shaping recruitment strategies and ensuring a fair candidate experience.

You will manage pipelines, facilitate searches, coordinate interviews and offers, and monitor metrics to improve time-to-fill and efficiency, drawing on expertise in academic medicine

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, Healthcare Admin, or related field with 5 years of experience in academic/healthcare recruitment or related area with progressive responsibilities.
• Master’s degree in business, healthcare administration, HR, or related field is preferred with 7 years in academic medicine/healthcare recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract high-quality faculty candidates.
• Manage candidate pipelines and oversee full-cycle faculty recruitment from posting to onboarding.
• Coordinate screenings, interviews, references, site visits, and recruitment activities.
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies and equal opportunity requirements.
• Maintain recruitment documentation and track metrics for pipelines and time-to-fill.
