University of Utah Health is seeking a Senior Executive Recruiter, Academic Affairs & Physician Leadership, to lead national searches for physician executives, department chairs, and research leaders across the health system in Salt Lake City. This highly visible role partners with executive leadership to attract exceptional talent advancing clinical, academic, and research missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Higher Education, or related field.
• Seven years of progressive recruiting experience.
• Five years of executive/faculty/leadership recruitment experience.
• Experience leading complex searches with stakeholder engagement and strategic consultation.
• Ability to influence executive leaders and manage multiple high-priority initiatives.
• Strong business acumen and consultative communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads full-cycle recruitment for senior academic and physician leadership positions including Chiefs of Operations, Department Chairs, Medical Directors, and executive appointments.
• Partners with academic and healthcare leaders to define recruitment strategies aligned with institutional goals, succession planning, and workforce needs.
• Conducts intake consultations to understand priorities, expectations, research objectives, clinical responsibilities, and leadership requirements.
• Develops and executes national recruitment strategies targeting distinguished faculty, physician leaders, researchers, and academic administrators.
• Manages complex national searches requiring sourcing, networking, stakeholder alignment, and confidentiality.
• Builds and maintains candidate pipelines for anticipated and future opportunities.
