Job summary

Mohawk Global is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business and deepen client relationships in the Cleveland, OH / Midwest region. You will identify and onboard clients while delivering first-class service for domestic logistics needs.

The role emphasizes prospecting, strategic sales, and cross-functional collaboration with internal teams to expand Mohawk’s domestic 3PL offerings and grow market share in the region.

Qualifications

• Proven success in securing new business through prospecting.
• Excellent presentation & business writing skills.
• Strong verbal communication and an aggressive drive to grow a client base.
• Ability to interact with internal and external contacts at all levels.
• Self-motivated with high enthusiasm.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Knowledge of supply chain management and logistics.
• Experience using PowerPoint for presentations.
• Use consultative selling to secure and maintain business.
• Understand revenue impact on P&L.

Responsibilities

• Market third party logistics services, including LTL, FTL, expedite and distribution.
• Develop prospects and onboard new clients; maintain current accounts.
• Conduct sales calls with new and existing clients.
• Cross-sell and team-sell to convert import/export clients to domestic services.
• Lead marketing and development of end-to-end domestic transportation in the region.
• Create and deliver sales proposals to key prospects and clients.
• Maintain accurate client data in the CRM.
• Negotiate and close profitable business across all products.
• Report weekly sales activity to management.
• Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and ensure proper account setup.
