Sunward Steel Inc. is seeking a Third-Party Procurement Specialist to manage Sunward's 3P vendor network, ensuring the right product, quality, lead times, and cost.

You will oversee vendor reviews, supplier onboarding, and ongoing performance against benchmarks, while partnering with engineering, project management, and finance to optimize procurement processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong negotiation skills, 3P experience in manufacturing or steel-building contexts, and a disciplined

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or related area in manufactur­ing or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for 3P vendors, manage relationships, negotiate terms and lead times.
• Oversee end-to-end procurement process from requisition to PO placement and delivery verification.
• Coordinate with logistics for shipping, routing, and delivery scheduling to optimize costs.
• Collaborate with engineering and drafting to ensure vendor components meet design specs and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain vendor databases, performance dashboards, and contingency sourcing plans.
• Track purchase orders, flag delays, and communicate impacts to internal teams.
• Maintain records of certifications, insurance, and compliance documentation.
