Job summary

Sun Communities, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Program Manager to bridge strategy and execution across the supply chain at the property level. You will coordinate supplier relationships, manage scorecards and risk, and ensure contracts and catalogs reflect negotiated terms.

This role reports to a Category Manager and drives cost efficiency and supplier performance across multiple sites. The candidate will own day-to-day supplier activities, lead cross-functional collaborations, and deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or related field.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• 5+ years in supplier performance management or procurement program coordination.
• 5+ years in supplier relationship management or contract management.
• Valid driver's license.
• Certifications: PMP/CAPM/CIPS/CPSM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and compile supplier scorecards with SLAs, KPIs, and contract objectives.
• Serve as daily contact between procurement team and suppliers; manage communication cadences.
• Monitor supplier risk across financial, ESG, cybersecurity; flag risks and recommend mitigations.
• Escalate and manage remediation of supplier issues with CAPAs and due dates.
• Manage the contract repository, ensuring contracts are current and accessible.
• Track contract renewals and alert Category Manager of upcoming actions.
• Ensure accurate representation of products/services in catalogs and policies.
• Institute supplier development and continuous-improvement programs.
• Surface new savings and innovation opportunities from supplier management.
• Ensure terms, pricing, and obligations are met; identify value leakage.
• Provide data-driven insights and spend visibility to inform decisions.
• Prepare executive-level supplier performance reports.
• Coordinate cross-functional validation of needs and alignment.
• Support category strategy, spend analysis, and procurement policy development.
• Facilitate monthly operational reviews and quarterly business reviews with suppliers.
• Coordinate supplier offboarding to ensure continuity of service.
