Job summary

FPC of Savannah in Indiana is seeking a Sr. Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing, supplier performance, purchasing operations, and supply planning.

This leader will manage a purchasing team and partner cross-functionally to drive material availability, cost improvement, and supply chain resilience. You will manage a purchasing team, drive material availability, cost improvements, and supply chain resilience across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive purchasing, sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience managing purchasing teams.
• Experience sourcing steel, fabricated metals, industrial components.
• Strong negotiation, analytics, and cross-functional leadership.
• Experience with ERP and supply planning systems.
• Preference: purchasing leadership in a multi-site manufacturing organization.
• Preference: advanced planning platform experience and related certifications (APICS/ASCM, CPSM, CPIM).

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of purchasing professionals.
• Develop multi-site sourcing strategies with 250M+ spend; steel/mechanical experience preferred.
• Lead supplier selection, RFQs, negotiations, and contract management to drive TCO.
• Build supplier scorecards and improvement plans.
• Improve supply continuity through risk mitigation and alternate sourcing.
• Own supply planning parameters, replenishment strategies, and inventory optimization.
• Resolve supply disruptions to minimize production shortages.
• Drive cost savings, purchasing process standardization, and CI across locations.
• Track service levels, supplier OTD, savings, inventory turns, and team performance.

There is a critical need for a Sr. Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing, supplier performance, purchasing operations, and supply planning. This leader will manage a purchasing team and partner cross-functionally to drive material availability, cost improvement, and supply chain resilience.

• Develop Multi-Site sourcing strategies 250M+ in Spend, Steel/Mechanical experience preferred.

• Prefer advanced planning platform experience
• Prefer APICS/ASCM, CPSM, CPIM, or related professional certification.
