Job summary

Boyd Gaming is seeking a dedicated kitchen maintenance worker to clean and disassemble ovens, stoves, grills, and fryers, ensuring proper reassembly after cleaning. Grease management and stove vent maintenance are part of the daily tasks.

Applicants should be able to stand/walk for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and push/pull up to 300 pounds with assistance. Excellent communication and required licenses/certifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Must have a working knowledge of chemicals and processes used in kitchen cleaning.

Job Description

• Disassemble and clean all ovens, stoves, grills, and deep fat fryers; properly reassemble when cleaning is concluded.
• Strain and refill grease in fryers as needed.
• Wipe, clean, and polish all stoves, hoods, and stove vents.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for majority of shift.
• Must have a working knowledge of all chemical and processes used.
• Must be able to maneuver approximately 50 pounds and push or pull loads up to 300 pounds with the assistance of a cart or flatbed truck regularly through a shift.
• Must be able to lift, bend, kneel, stoop, scrape, grasp, reach, etc. repeatedly throughout shift.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications
