Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a diligent Maintenance Associate to disassemble, clean, and reassemble kitchen equipment, maintain grease systems, and ensure cleanliness of stoves, hoods, and vents. This role supports busy casino kitchens across our properties and requires physical stamina.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety practices, the ability to lift heavy loads, and reliable communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for majority of shift.
• Must have a working knowledge of all chemical and processes used.
• Able to move up to 50 pounds and push/pull loads up to 300 pounds with assistance.
• Must be able to lift, bend, kneel, stoop, scrape, grasp, reach, etc. repeatedly throughout shift.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

• Strain and refill grease in fryers as needed.
• Wipe, clean, and polish all stoves, hoods, and stove vents.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for majority of shift.
• Must have a working knowledge of all chemical and processes used.
• Must be able to maneuver approximately 50 pounds and push or pull loads up to 300 pounds with the assistance of a cart or flatbed truck regularly through a shift.
• Must be able to lift, bend, kneel, stoop, scrape, grasp, reach, etc. repeatedly throughout shift.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications
