Qualifications

• Located in the United States and willing to move to San Francisco after hire.
• Strong storyteller with instinct for finding what people care about.
• Experience building and growing an audience across platforms like Instagram and Substack.
• Ability to develop clear content pillars and recurring formats for a recognizable voice.
• Think in narratives, not just individual posts.
• Excellent editorial and creative judgment and cultural awareness.
• Deeply internet-native with understanding of online consumption and engagement.
• Strategic yet hands-on—able to shape story and ensure execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow UGLYCASH's cross-channel social presence (Instagram, TikTok, X).
• Own and develop the ongoing narrative across social platforms.
• Collaborate with founders and team to identify stories and moments to turn into content.
• Create recurring storylines, formats, and content arcs to keep audiences engaged.
• Translate company happenings into compelling narratives (launches, conversations, wins, failures, events).
• Partner with film creator to decide what to capture and how stories form.
• Develop and maintain the social content calendar and cadence.
• Stay plugged into internet culture and identify relevant trends for UGLYCASH.
• Continuously experiment with storytelling and adapt based on resonance.
