Job summary

UGLYCASH is seeking a Social Media Content Lead in the United States who will manage Instagram, TikTok, and X, shaping the company narrative across platforms. You will partner with founders to extract compelling stories from launches, experiments, and everyday moments.

The role requires storytelling prowess, audience-building experience, and the ability to create clear content pillars and recurring formats that establish a distinctive voice.

Qualifications

• Located in the United States and willing to move to San Francisco after hire.

• Experience building and growing an audience across platforms like Instagram and Substack.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow UGLYCASH's cross-channel social presence (Instagram, TikTok, X).
• Own and develop the ongoing narrative across social platforms.
• Collaborate with founders and team to identify stories and moments to turn into content.
• Create recurring storylines, formats, and content arcs to keep audiences engaged.
• Translate company happenings into compelling narratives (launches, conversations, wins, failures, events).
• Partner with film creator to decide what to capture and how stories form.
• Develop and maintain the social content calendar and cadence.
• Stay plugged into internet culture and identify relevant trends for UGLYCASH.
• Continuously experiment with storytelling and adapt based on resonance.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage and grow UGLYCASH's cross-platform social channels, including Instagram, TikTok, and X
• Own and develop the ongoing narrative of UGLYCASH across social

• You have experience building and growing an audience — ideally across Instagram and a writing-led platform like Substack.
• You know how to develop clear content pillars and recurring formats that build a recognizable voice.
• You think in narratives, not just individual posts.
• You have strong editorial and creative taste and know what feels culturally relevant.
• You're deeply internet-native and understand how people consume, share, and engage with content online.
• You're strategic but hands-on — you can shape the story and make sure it gets executed.
