Job summary

Black & Veatch has an exciting Water Resources Engineer opening focused on stormwater planning and design, flood control, and water supply planning. This hybrid role can be based out of multiple Florida offices, including West Palm Beach, Orlando, or Tampa, offering a blend of office and site work.

The incumbent will lead planning, modeling, and design tasks, mentor junior staff, and drive client relationships to grow the Planning business in the Florida region.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 5+ years related work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• Holds active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of water resources projects including stormwater planning, design, and flood mitigation.
• Interface with partners to leverage new technologies and approaches for clients.
• Provide technical mentorship and recruit/supervise early-career professionals.
