Job summary

The City of Raleigh seeks a Plan Review Supervisor to lead the Stormwater Plan Review Group within the Stormwater Division of the Raleigh Water Department. You will supervise 4 of 9 staff, guide permit reviews for public and private projects, and champion Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) initiatives across the city.

The role requires strong leadership, engineering/management experience, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and city

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field; 5 to 7 years' experience in engineering, construction management or related work
• Or any equivalent combination of training and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Stormwater Plan Review Group, which reviews and permits all development projects in Raleigh and its ETJ
• Advocate for Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) within the City by collaborating with project managers on public and private development projects
• Coordinate updates to the City’s Unified Development Ordinance and Stormwater Design Manual to stay current with Federal and State requirements
