City of Raleigh North Carolina seeks a Stormwater Plan Review Engineer to evaluate stormwater design plans and calculations for compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. You will review erosion controls, post-construction measures, floodplain management, and riparian buffers.
You will use GIS and multiple software tools, communicate with developers and staff, and maintain thorough documentation.
The Stormwater Plan Review Engineer works within the Stormwater Management Division of the City of Raleigh's Engineering Services Department. The position works with other engineers in the review of submitted stormwater management designs in the form of plans and calculations and in the approval of permits to ensure compliance with City, State, and Federal regulations as they relate to erosion and sediment control, post-construction stormwater, floodplains, watershed overlays, and riparian buffers.

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; 1 to 3 years' experience in architecture, interior design, engineering, construction management or related work

Any equivalent combination of training and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted
Medium: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Work is typically performed in an office or similar environment, an outdoor environment, a street environment (near moving traffic) and in or around vehicles. Employees may occasionally work at a construction site.
