Job summary

Gulfshoresal is hiring a Roadside Ditch Maintenance & Excavation Skilled Trades Worker to perform maintenance, construction, and repair of stormwater conveyance systems and road right-of-way infrastructure. The role emphasizes hands-on field work and reliable problem solving to keep roads and waterways flowing smoothly.

Starting pay is $21.51 per hour with potential for higher steps based on experience. Must be able to obtain a Class B CDL within six months and hold a Florida driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of stormwater/road maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain Class B CDL within 6 months of hire.
• Valid Florida Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on stormwater conveyance systems and appurtenances.
• Restore road right-of-ways and properties related to maintenance and repairs.
• Operate vacuum/jet trucks, Gradall, backhoes, excavators, and related equipment.
• Respond to customer complaints about stormwater systems and erosion control.
• Complete and submit work orders in a timely, professional manner.
