Qualifications

• Three years of experience in construction, maintenance, and repair of stormwater conveyance systems.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Florida Class B CDL with tanker endorsement within six months of hire; driver license required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, construct, and repair stormwater conveyance and road right-of-way systems.
• Restore road rights-of-way and properties related to stormwater work.
• Install and repair pipeline infrastructure and plumbing for proper conveyance grade.
• Respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Lead staff to ensure safety in operations.
• Perform carpenter work for installing and building new infrastructure.
• Design, form, and pour concrete for structures and curb work.
• Operate equipment and ensure compliance with FDOT stormwater specs.
• Operate backhoes, excavators, arm mowers, vacuum trucks and related equipment.
