Qualified candidates have 2+ years in erosion control, Maryland erosion control training or ability to obtain within 6 months, and a valid Class C license.

Qualifications

Two or more years of erosion control experience or related field.
Maryland certificate in erosion control or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
Valid non-commercial Class C motor vehicle operator's license.
High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Conduct soil erosion and sedimentation control and stormwater inspections; attend construction meetings; issue minor plan adjustments.
Advise contractors, land owners, and others on soil erosion and stormwater codes and regulations.
Review applications and issue permits; investigate problems and enforce compliance.
Prepare inspection reports and maintain records; participate in seminars and trainings.
Perform related work as required.
