Job summary

STV in New York City is seeking a Design Engineering Specialist to support hydrologic and hydraulic analysis within the Transportation Group at our NYC office. Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree required
• Engineer-in-Training or Professional Engineer certification or ability to obtain
• 5–10 years of relevant experience
• Experience in stormwater design and hydraulics for public/private projects
• Experience with regulatory permitting and SWPPP development
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling tools including HEC-RAS, TR-55, SWMM

Responsibilities

• Design drainage and stormwater systems from inception to final design.
• Coordinate with agencies for sign-offs and permits.
• Assist management with scope/schedule for technical reports and design documents.
