The Prince George's County Office of Storm Drain Maintenance is seeking skilled equipment operators to safely and efficiently run a range of heavy construction equipment for road and highway maintenance projects. You will train on all equipment, perform pre- and post-inspections, and support snow/ice control and emergency operations.

Eligible candidates must have a valid CDL (Class A or B) and be able to pass performance tests.

Formación

• One year as an Equipment Operator I or completion of a standard grade school course.
• Two years of experience operating light to heavy power equipment.
• Valid CDL-Class A or B with endorsements required at appointment.
• Must pass equipment/vehicle performance testing.

Responsabilidades

• Operate equipment in the Office of Storm Drain Maintenance on construction/maintenance projects.
• Perform daily safety inspections and maintain logs for vehicles/equipment.
• Assist with work-site safety, utility locates, and inclement weather prep.
• Contribute to Snow and Ice Control program and emergency operations as needed.
