Job summary

Vallen's Storeroom Team Leader is an on-site, individual contributor role at a customer location. You coordinate work, train others, manage storeroom materials and tools, and address customer issues following operating policies.

Responsibilities include customer service, purchasing, warehouse attendance, inventory management, and storeroom support. Strong communication, organizational skills, and product knowledge are essential for delivering value.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated product, industry and supply chain systems knowledge.
• Strong communication, time management and customer service skills.
• Quality mindset with accuracy and thoroughness.
• Proficiency with MS-Office products and ability to learn company programs.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service via phone, email or in person.
• Handle ordering, receiving, inspecting, returning, unloading, shelving and inventory.
• Prioritize and assign tasks to meet schedules and targets.
• Enter data in databases and maintain inventory records.
• Mentor others on storeroom operations and procedures.
• Ensure safe operation of storeroom and assist with improvements.
• Perform related duties as requested.
