Vallen Distribution, Inc. seeks a Storeroom Team Leader to be on-site at a customer location, coordinating work and training others in storeroom operations, materials handling, and tool usage, while guiding adherence to policy.

You will perform duties such as customer service, inventory management, data entry, and mentoring staff; the role emphasizes safety, extended hours, and occasional weekend work, with a target pay range of $23.00–$25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of related experience.
• Demonstrated product, industry and supply chain systems knowledge.
• Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with MS-Office products (Excel, Word) and ability to learn company programs.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-level customer service by responding to customers via phone, email or in person.
• Coordinates and performs work involving ordering, receiving, inspecting, returning, unloading, shelving, binning, packing, labeling, pricing, delivering and maintaining inventory.
• Prioritizes and assigns tasks to ensure team resources are used effectively and targets are met.
• Enters data into a database or system to maintain inventory records; retrieves information as needed.
• Trains, mentors, and monitors others on storeroom operations and usage of storeroom tools.
• Assists with ensuring safe operation of storeroom and may perform related duties as requested.
