Job summary

Vallen Distribution, Inc. seeks a Storeroom Team Leader to be placed at a customer site in Davie, FL. You will coordinate work, train staff on storeroom operations, manage materials and tools, and address customer issues while guiding associates to follow operating policies and procedures.

You will also ensure accurate inventory, data entry for records, and space utilization while maintaining safety and quality standards. Some evenings or weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with 4+ years related experience.
• Demonstrated product, industry and supply chain systems knowledge.
• Strong communication, time management and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to learn company software.

Responsibilities

• Provides high level customer service by responding to customers in person, by phone, or email.
• Coordinates and performs tasks related to ordering, receiving, inspecting, returning, unloading, shelving, packing and inventory maintenance.
• Prioritizes and assigns tasks to ensure schedules and targets are met.
• Enters data into a database to maintain up-to-date inventory records and retrieves information as needed.
• Trains and mentors others on storeroom operations and safety policies.
• Ensures safe operation of storeroom and performs related duties as required.
