Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Storeroom Supervisor to oversee and lead day-to-day activities of a 1–2 person team at a customer site, including training Buyers, CSRs, Warehouse Workers, and others aligned with customer needs.

You will ensure safety, policy compliance, and high customer satisfaction within an integrated supply and solutions service model. Strong leadership and process improvement mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Supply Chain, Business, Finance) and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to mentor new staff and work with existing staff to cross-train.
• Proficiency with MS-Office products (Excel, Word) and the technical aptitude to learn all company specific programs.

Responsibilities

• Staff supervisory duties including interviews, coaching, training, and delegating work.
• Ensure storeroom attends to ISO compliance per contract with customer.
• Train and mentor associates on storeroom handling and SOPs; ensure safe operation.
• Research root cause analysis for complex site issues and engage customers for resolution.
• Audit daily work for accuracy and provide coverage for staffing needs as required.
• Assist with preparing materials for quarterly site presentations to plant management.
