Job summary

Chartwells K12 in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Storeroom Supervisor for a full-time role to oversee storeroom operations, supervise order, receipt, and storage activities, and ensure accurate stock management.

The position requires experience with Excel, inventory turns, and food safety, with a 6:00 am–2:30 pm schedule at the Kirkwood location; no nights or weekends. Training and advancement opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with Excel spreadsheets.
• Experience with inventory turns and food safety.
• Ability to supervise storeroom operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate storeroom activities.
• Supervise associates who order, receive, and put away inventory.
• Supervise issuing or shipping materials.
• Ensure stocks are adequate and stored to preserve quality.
• Maintain FIFO to minimize waste.
• Plan storeroom layout considering turnover, size and weight.
• Communicate with management and manage excess stock.
• Resolve discrepancies between inventory and records.
• Assist vendors with access and supervise during unsecure periods.
• Covers shifts when staff are away.
