Job summary

Chartwells K12 is hiring a full-time Storeroom Supervisor for our Kirkwood location in Saint Louis, MO. The role runs Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with no nights, weekends, holidays, or summers off.

The successful candidate will supervise inventory ordering, receiving, and storage, ensuring FIFO usage and quality preservation. Required experience includes Excel spreadsheets, inventory turns, and food safety.

Qualifications

• Experience with Excel, inventory turns, and food safety.
• Oversee storeroom operations and inventory control.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate staff during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates who order, receive, and put away inventory.
• Supervise associates who issue or ship materials.
• Ensure that stocks are adequate and stored to preserve quality.
• Use FIFO to minimize waste.
• Plan storeroom layout for turnover and weight considerations.
• Communicate with management about non-usable or excess stock.
• Resolve discrepancies between inventory and records.
• Assist vendors with access to delivery areas and supervise when unsecure.
• Cover shifts for storeroom staff as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
