Job summary

Flying Food Group is seeking a Storeroom Supervisor to oversee all storeroom activities, including storage, control, and issuance of materials and equipment. The role supports policy development and ensures compliance with procedures in a food manufacturing environment.

The supervisor leads a team of hourly staff, maintains audit-ready areas, and uses SAGE for materials management. Strong Excel and communication skills are essential for daily operations and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to speak before groups.

Responsibilities

• Plan layout of stockroom, warehouse, and storage areas; manage stock turnover and size/weight considerations.
• Lead storeroom team and act as SME for SAGE.
• Ensure secure, audit-ready receiving areas, warehouse, and storeroom at all times.
• Monitor stock levels, investigate discrepancies, and recommend remedial actions.
• Oversee shift schedules, assign duties, and ensure accuracy of records.
