Job summary

Colonial Williamsburg Foundation in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Storeroom/Inventory Clerk to support the restaurant and conference center operations. Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year storeroom or warehouse experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Good computer skills is a must.
• Good knowledge of food products, specifications, storage, and rotation procedures.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 75 pounds and standing for long periods.
• High School diploma or GED; college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure orderly flow of supplies and maintain clean storeroom, cooler and freezers.
• Receive and store all food, supplies and equipment; safeguard inventory.
• Receive all goods for restaurant and conference center.
• Rotate stock (FIFO).
• Order goods and supplies based on department needs.
• Keep shelves clean and comply with sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain neat and orderly storage areas and inventory.
• Issue stored items to authorized personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
