Job summary

Colonial Williamsburg Foundation seeks a Storeroom/Inventory Associate to manage the flow of supplies for the restaurant and conference center. You will receive, store, rotate stock, and stock shelves while maintaining sanitation and inventory control.

Applicants should have 6 months to 1 year of storage experience, strong communication, and basic computer skills. A High School diploma or GED is required, with college preferred. Position may require nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year storeroom or warehouse experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Good computer skills required.
• High school diploma or GED; college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain orderly storeroom, cooler, and freezers.
• Receive and store all food and non-food items and equipment.
• Rotate stock (FIFO).
• Order goods and supplies based on department needs.
• Ensure shelves are clean and sanitation guidelines are met.
• Keep storage areas and inventory neat and secure.
• Issue stored items to authorized personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
