Job summary

Riviana Foods Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking a Storeroom Clerk to manage parts stock, perform inventory, and ensure orderly storerooms. You will unpack and pack goods, record incoming and outgoing materials, and monitor SAP inventory to support maintenance operations.

Responsibilities include replenishing shelves, running SAP reports to trigger reorders, and enforcing FIFO and cycle counts to minimize stock discrepancies. A high school diploma and 2 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Stock and inventory management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP inventory and purchasing workflows.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Receive parts from Purchasing/Warehouse, verify against request, label, and place in correct bin.
• Return damaged parts to vendor and follow up on reorders.
• Monitor max/min inventories for parts.
• Run SAP reports to identify parts to reorder and create purchase requests under min stock.
• Ensure virtual location is free of non-moving parts for >24 hours and resolve SAP vs physical stock conflicts.
• Restock unused parts and update SAP and virtual locations; ensure items are pristine.
• Restock used/repaired parts and ensure FIFO rules are met.
• Monitor FIFO practices and ensure used parts are prioritized over new.
• Conduct periodic internal/external cyclic counts and minimize SAP corrections.
