Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Mission Critical Material Handler based in Sumter, SC. The role focuses on shipping, material allocation, planning, receiving, and staging in the Front or Back Storeroom, with no relocation benefits offered.

Primary duties include operating forklifts/cranes, cycle counting, and verifying material flow to support production while adhering to safety and quality standards. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Forklift and/or crane operation experience to transport and locate equipment and materials to required areas.
• Broad knowledge of materials planning, scheduling, receiving, shipping, and tracking systems.
• Only candidates residing within 50 miles of Sumter, SC will be considered.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and cranes to transport and locate equipment and materials.
• Receive, document, store, stage and issue all job-related material to satisfy production requirements.
• Support assembly and fabrication requirements for materials as needed.
• Package, label, and prepare equipment, parts, and materials for shipment or staging.
• Perform cycle counts and analyze data to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Maintain 5S standards and ensure a clean, organized work area.
