Eaton is seeking a Material Handler-1 Storeroom for the 2nd shift in Greenwood, SC. You will receive and issue raw materials, handle paperwork for data entry, assist planners on material availability, and prepare finished goods for shipping.
You will operate forklifts and other equipment, maintain inventory with 5S, and participate in process improvements. A high school diploma and forklift experience are required; SCMC or equivalent preferred.
Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Material Handler-1 Storeroom (2nd Shift). The hourly rate for this position is $18.11 + $1 shift differential per hour. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
CORE HOURS: 3PM - 1AM

In the Material Handler (Storeroom) position you will receive and issue raw materials, assemblies, sub-assemblies, tools, and supplies and forward all necessary paperwork to computer services for data entry, assist the planners and buyers on material availability related processes and box, pack and ship finished product and all raw materials, as appropriate.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, persuasive skills, and analytical problem-solving skills. Work with individuals and groups to effectively participate within team environment. Willing to work flexible hours and overtime in support of business needs.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; reach at or above shoulder level; grip; and use hands to handle and feel. The employee is frequently required to walk; stoop; lift; carry; push; pull; and grip. The employee is frequently required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently required to push/pull up to or greater than 50 pounds. The vision requirements include far and close vision with depth perception and color discrimination. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to listen and to talk.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to noise and frequently exposed to dust.
