Job summary

INEOS Phenol in Mobile, AL is seeking a Storeroom Supervisor to lead the Storeroom, Material Control and Inventory activities for maintenance and projects. You will ensure proper materials, procedures, and teamwork to meet deadlines and operate safely.

The role emphasizes strong supervision, cost control, and collaboration with plant departments, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver quality service at reasonable costs across a large facility.

Qualifications

High School level education or GED required.
Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum five (5) years experience in industrial material procurement/distribution.
Three (3) years experience with computerized Storeroom inventory software, preferably SAP.
Minimum of five (5) years in related tasks demonstrating equivalent skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise Storeroom operations including receiving, issuing, cycle counting, cost control, BOM updates, and housekeeping.
Purchase material for Maintenance and manage Storeroom inventory to $5.0 million.
Develop ISO 9001 procedures and train department personnel.
Coordinate with internal customers and external vendors to ensure timely material delivery.
Assist in cost reduction initiatives and budget for Storeroom.
