Job summary

INEOS Phenol in Mobile, AL is seeking a Storeroom Supervisor to lead Inventory Control, purchasing of maintenance materials, and material control operations across the plant.

You will develop ISO 9001 procedures, train and coach the Storeroom team, optimize BOM handling, and collaborate with SAP and other systems to maintain service levels, cost control, and safety. This role connects with maintenance and projects to ensure reliable supply.

Qualifications

• High School-level education or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum five years experience in industrial material procurement/distribution.
• Three years experience with computerized Storeroom inventory software, preferably SAP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ISO 9001 procedures within assigned areas of responsibility.
• Provide direction, development, motivation and cooperation of Storeroom personnel.
• Supervise Storeroom operations: receiving, issuing, cycle counting, BOMs, and housekeeping.
• Purchase maintenance material; manage inventory cost at or below $5.0 million.
• Evaluate methods to reduce inventory value without compromising service.
• Identify cost reduction ideas to reduce plant expenditures.
• Analyze and budget controllable Storeroom costs.
• Monitor storeroom inventory to meet material standards for Mobile facility.
• Communicate with vendors and internal customers; support SDS library with ESH.
