Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring a full-time Storeroom Attendant at UF Health Jacksonville in Jacksonville, FL. The role focuses on receiving, storing and inventorying departmental supplies and food items while upholding sanitation and safety standards.

We seek candidates with storeroom experience; schedule is full-time, Monday to Friday with possible weekend/holiday hours. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Previous storeroom attendant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inventories and maintains necessary food and supplies for efficient operation.
• Stores items in correct containers and proper storage areas per guidelines.
• Maintains records of storage temperatures for perishable items per standards.
• Dates, labels, and rotates stock using oldest product first.
• Orders food and supplies based on product specifications and company procedures.
• Secures designated areas to safeguard against theft and follows storage security procedures.
• Transports food and supplies in appropriate containers to ensure safe arrival.
• Follows HACCP guidelines when receiving and distributing supplies.
• Reports needed maintenance or repairs of equipment to proper resources.
• Completes all daily/weekly/monthly reports as outlined in policies and procedures.
• Uses cleaning chemicals per MSDS directions and operates equipment safely.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
