Job summary

Morrison Healthcare at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN is hiring a full-time Storeroom Attendant to manage receiving, storage and inventory of departmental supplies and food items, while maintaining sanitation in storage areas.

The role prefers prior inventory or warehouse experience; training is provided. Schedule is Monday through Friday with a fixed pay rate of $18.00 per hour, plus a $250 sign-on bonus at 30 and 90 days; benefits are available for eligible positions.

Qualifications

• Previous inventory and warehouse experience preferred.
• Willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores, and inventories all departmental supplies and food items.
• Stores items in correct containers and storage areas per guidelines.
• Maintains records of storage temperatures for perishable items.
• Dates, labels, and rotates stock according to oldest stock first.
• Orders food and supplies per company protocols.
• Secures designated areas to safeguard associates and follows storage security procedures.
• Transports food and supplies safely to ensure arrival in good condition.
• Follows HACCP guidelines when receiving and distributing supplies.
• Reports maintenance or repairs needed for equipment.
• Completes daily/weekly/monthly reports as required.
• Handles cleaning chemicals per MSDS directions and uses equipment safely.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
