• Receives, stores and inventories all departmental supplies and food stuffs; maintains sanitation in storage areas.
• Stores food and supplies in correct containers and storage areas per guidelines; prevents spoilage.
• Maintains records and logs of storage temperatures for perishable items.
• Dates, labels and rotates stock; oldest products are used first.
• Orders food and supplies according to product specifications and procedures.
• Secures designated areas against theft and follows storage security procedures.
• Transports food and supplies in suitable containers or vehicles to keep items safe and intact.
• Follows HACCP guidelines when receiving and distributing food supplies to ensure quality and safety.
