Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Storeroom Crib Attendant to join our dedicated team at a customer site. You will support daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting while maintaining a professional, clean, and organized work environment.

The role requires basic computer skills, good math, and strong communication and teamwork. You will unload, label, store, and issue inventory, enter stock data, and participate in cycle counts, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ months relevant experience or training.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, and procedures.
• Basic computer knowledge and aptitude to learn systems like MS-Office and ERP tools.
• Strong math fundamentals and ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Unload, receive and put away incoming goods; check against invoices for discrepancies.
• Sort, label, move and store items; optimize crib space and storage layout.
• Issue items to site employees; maintain accurate records for issued/returned items.
• Enter data into stock systems; respond to inquiries and log discrepancies.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory reports; help replenish stock.
• Inspect tools/equipment for defects and report wear; transport items to work locations.
• Assist with safety and housekeeping; follow standard operating procedures.
