Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Storeroom Crib Attendant to support customer locations with receiving, stocking and cycle counting of inventory. The role emphasizes accurate data entry and organized storage.

Responsibilities include unloading and documenting goods, delivering items to sites, and maintaining safety and efficiency in a warehouse environment. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 3+ months relevant experience or training.
• Experience with loading, unloading, picking, packing or moving goods in a warehouse environment; forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge and aptitude to learn; familiarity with MS-Office, Vista, Control, SX.e, Prophet 21 is a plus.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and ability to compute rates and percentages.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and be self-motivated.
• Attention to detail and safety minded.

Responsibilities

• Unloads, receives and puts away incoming product and checks for damage or discrepancies with invoices.
• Sorts, labels, moves and stores items on racks or bins per product codes and size.
• Issues product to site employees and maintains accurate issue/return records.
• Enters data into a database to maintain up-to-date stock records and respond to inventory inquiries.
• Requests requisitions to replenish inventory and conducts cycle counts.
• Inspects tools and equipment for defects and reports wear.
• Delivers tools or equipment to work locations and locates missing items.
• May repair, service and lubricate tools as required.
• Performs other related duties as requested.
