Job summary

Grocery Outlet is seeking a Store Transition Coordinator to execute both new and existing store changes. You will work with the Store Transition Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions for Independent Operators (IOs).

The role involves assisting IOs with business setup and licensing, and coordinating with Operations, Legal, Construction, Strategy, Safety, Training, and IT. Responsibilities include leading Clarizen-based projects, coordinating with internal partners, and

Qualifications

A. or B.S. degree required in a related field.
0–3 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in grocery/retail.
Strong strategic decision‑making skills with quick assessment and effective solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple store transition projects via Clarizen, resolving challenges and meeting timelines.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal partners for timely store transition tasks.
Lead kickoff calls with Independent Operators and partners to align on expectations.
Assist IOs with business setup and licensing requirements to legally operate stores.
Oversee IO asset transactions in partnership with Sales & Merchandising Directors.
